PointGrab is a London-based machine learning and computer vision PropTech company led by CEO Doron Shachar. It provides a Smart Sensing Platform and smart sensors for building automation and facilities management customers. The platform tracks staff to keep workplaces COVID-safe and offers distancing alerts, cleaning capabilities and smart analytics. PointGrab aims to help workplaces reopen by monitoring occupancy and enforcing social distancing. In May 2021 the company raised £3.4M in funding led by EMV Capital, with ABB Ventures, Signify and various family offices participating, and plans to use the proceeds to accelerate rollout of its platform.
