- CipherOwl
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
CipherOwl has built an AI-powered intelligence layer that automates end-to-end crypto compliance for enterprises by screening millions of on-chain transactions, investigating suspicious activity, and producing audit-ready reports. Its "SR3 stack"—Screening, Reasoning, Reporting, and Research—is coordinated by an AI orchestration layer to ensure every decision is evidence-backed and regulator-friendly. The product delivers reproducible, explainable outcomes that transform weeks-long manual reviews into minutes, addressing the growing compliance burden as on-chain volumes are projected to rise 100-fold by 2030. While still in stealth, the company counts Coinbase, OKX, 0x, Cobo, and Story Protocol as customers with production workloads. Founded by former leaders of Coinbase’s on-chain data and compliance platform, CipherOwl is headquartered in San Francisco. The fresh $15 million seed financing will fund engineering hires, broaden blockchain network coverage, and deepen institutional and public-sector partnerships. Longer-term, the team plans to support additional chains and enhance its AI agents so both humans and autonomous systems can request real-time compliance checks via APIs. No revenue figures were disclosed, but the company positions itself as critical infrastructure for the next wave of institutional crypto adoption.
- Nauta
Led · Seed · Aug 2025
Nauta is an AI-powered logistics orchestration platform built to harmonize importers' data from emails, documents, and legacy systems into a single source of truth. The platform applies business logic at the container level to automate routine workflows and enable faster, proactive decisions that improve control, visibility, and margins. Co‑founded by Valentina Jordan (who led product and engineering at Rappi) and Rafael Santiago (who led a prominent importing logistics company in the Caribbean), Nauta launched in Q1 2025. Since launch it is servicing importers in seven countries and works with distributors for brands including New Balance, Ashley Furniture HomeStore, L'Oréal, Modelo, and Moët & Chandon. Customers using Nauta have reported up to 80% reductions in detention costs, a 30% increase in operator productivity, and a 75% improvement in container processing times. The company intends to use new capital to accelerate global expansion and is actively recruiting sales and partnerships talent.

Spur is expanding its AI QA engineer capabilities and exploring use cases such as Persona Based Testing, A/B testing and UI/UX testing. - ThankUCash
Participated · Seed · Jan 2022
ThankUCash, launched in 2018 by Connected Analytics, operates a multi-merchant rewards platform that lets customers earn loyalty points and cashback across thousands of merchants. Its consumer app has recorded over 600,000 users, onboarded more than 1,000 stores, and processed over $80 million in transaction volume. The company monetizes via merchant fees and commissions (for example, a 1.5% commission on certain cashback redemptions) and plans to charge onboarding/API fees for businesses using its services. With a 45-person team, ThankUCash is expanding within Nigeria (Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja) and into Ghana and Kenya, hiring regional leads for those markets. It is building out infrastructure products — rewards, deals, couponing, gift cards, buy-now-pay-later and a planned remittance product — and has signed a partnership with Interswitch while working on payments gateway and bank integrations. The team intends to keep the consumer-facing platform active while offering plugins and APIs that banks, fintechs and merchants can use to run cashback, loyalty and BNPL services. Thank U Cash is a Nigerian rewards platform that enables consumers to save and earn loyalty points that can be swapped for cash, while merchants benefit from increased spend. The startup was founded earlier this year by CEO Madonna Ononobi, CTO Surak Supekar and COO Simeon Ononobi. Lagos-based VC Ventures Platform announced an undisclosed investment on 11 October via founding partner Kola Aina. The company also received an investment from Nigerian VC Microtraction in August and is part of the second cohort of Google Launchpad Accelerator Africa, which kicked off in August. Crunchbase estimates Thank U Cash has raised $210,000 across three rounds. Microtraction’s website notes it ordinarily invests $65,000 in two stages with an initial investment of about $15,000, providing context on typical early checks.
