Based in Geneva since 2014, Preon Capital Partners is the family office of one of the most successful business angels in Europe and operates as an independent asset manager and financial advisory company. The company invests mainly in equity with a particular focus in technology startups that try to anticipate future global trends. The liquidity is managed via mutual funds that may invest directly in listed equity, listed derivatives and in external hedge fund managers. Our funds have been designed for and are dedicated to the family office beneficiary owner, but they may be opened to external investors at the directors’ discretion.

GenomSys develops an ISO MPEG-G–based software suite to compress, browse, store and share genomic information, applying digital media compression and streaming concepts to DNA data. The company’s products aim to dramatically reduce genomic file sizes, speed information transfer, and enable more efficient data analysis. GenomSys positions its technology to bring genomic information to personal devices while enforcing strict data-privacy standards, supporting wider access to personalized medicine. Its solutions target challenges from growing sequencing volumes, format proliferation, storage costs and analytic complexity. GenomSys was founded in 2016 and is based in Switzerland. The company recently completed a Series A financing, strengthening its position to accelerate product development and market deployment.
