  Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Nicolas Faquet, Roojai began as an online motor-insurance provider in Thailand and has evolved into a full-stack digital insurer. Its platform lets customers obtain tailored quotes, adjust coverage, submit claims and manage payments entirely online. Roojai now offers motor, health, personal-accident and travel policies, including products specifically designed for electric vehicles and safe drivers. The company operates through several entities: Roojai Insurance (Thailand), Roojai Indonesia, MrKumka (a Thai comparison broker) and Lifepal (an Indonesian comparison site acquired in 2022). In 2023 it bought FWD General Insurance Thailand, rebranding it to Roojai Insurance in 2024, cementing its full-stack capability.
