Overview
PurpleBricks is an online real estate agent that helps its clients to sell, buy, and let their properties. PurpleBricks provides a full estate agency service at a low cost because they've removed the expensive offices and fleets of cars that you see with traditional agents. Their one-off fee is payable when you instruct us but you can defer it for up to 10 months when you use their conveyancing service or until your property sells, whichever is sooner.

Homeday offers digital, personalised brokerage solutions that combine online tools with independent brokers to assist sellers and buyers through the entire brokerage process from intent to sell to contract completion in Germany. Since founding in 2015 and based in Berlin, the company has brokered around €3 billion of real estate to date. The startup employs almost 200 employees and works with about 180 independent brokers. Orders increased 515% in 2019 compared to the previous year. It has raised more than €60 million to date, including a recent €40 million funding round from Axel Springer and Purplebricks. Part of the fresh cash will be used to expand its broker network to 250 by the end of the year. Homeday is an online real estate brokerage that provides local realtors with a platform to match with property owners and streamline the selling process. The company's platform combines technology, real estate valuation expertise and professional, personal advice to support transactions. Founded in 2015 by Steffen Wicker, Dmitri Uvarovski and Philipp Reichle, Homeday operates out of Berlin and Cologne, Germany. So far the company says it has brokered more than €1 billion’s worth of real estate deals in Germany. The company secured €20m in funding and intends to use the funds to further scale its business model. Homeday operates a property-technology platform (www.homeday.de) that matches real estate agents with appropriate customers. Its matchmaking algorithms consider factors such as an agent’s experience and success with comparable properties, average time to sale, and feedback from prior brokerage agreements. The service allows property owners to find the sales agent best suited to their needs to maximize transaction outcomes. The company is led by Dmitri Uvarovski, Steffen Wicker and Philipp Reichle and is based in Cologne, Germany. Homeday is staffed by about 25 real estate and IT experts. It closed a seven-figure euro Series A and intends to use the funds to increase development, marketing and hiring.
