GameCo produces next-generation, arcade-style casino games and an omnichannel platform that blends mobile-app and video-game interactivity with regulated gambling. The company operates an iGameCo brand for online and mobile titles and offers a turnkey esports betting solution tailored to the regulated U.S. market. GameCo’s platform and patent-pending GamersEdge™ technology enable distribution and monetization of game content into regulated gaming markets. It holds licenses in more than thirty jurisdictions, including New Jersey and Nevada, and has expanded its digital portfolio during pandemic-related casino shutdowns. GameCo has formed alliances—such as with GRID for esports data—and secures brand licenses from major studios and celebrities for some titles. The company appointed Adam Rosenberg as CEO and plans rapid expansion into digital markets, releasing dozens of iGaming products yearly to attract younger players. New funding will be used to develop game titles and expand online, esports betting, and retail businesses. GameCo develops patented skill-based video game gambling machines (VGM™), proprietary arcade-style cabinets that balance player skill with patented game design while maintaining the same return to players as traditional slot machines. Each VGM features a single-player game, generally 60–90 seconds to play, adapted from console, PC, and mobile developers; the platform lets a player’s skill determine payout while preserving casino economics. Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Blaine Graboyes, the company is based in New York and also has offices in Las Vegas. GameCo raised $8.25M in Seed and Series A financing and intends to use the funds to launch its first games into multiple casinos in 2016. It plans to develop and roll out an ongoing pipeline of new games in 2017 and beyond. At the time of the round the company was completing regulatory approval and expected to begin field trials within major casinos in 2016.
