The company recently launched public access to new commerce features such as on-page checkout, the ability to browse multiple stores and add items from different stores into a single cart, and deeper marketing and community-building tools. Komi is rolling out integrations (including an upcoming Amazon storefront integration) and custom-built data-capture tools that give fans instant benefits in exchange for email or phone information. The platform is priced at $9.99 per month or $96 per year with a 30-day free trial, and Komi says it has partnered with creators and brands across six continents with a combined audience of more than two billion followers; notable users include Lizzo, Usher, Meghan Trainor and Jessica Alba. The company plans to use new funding to expand its product suite and grow its U.S.-based team. Komi first launched in 2021 as a landing-page tool and has evolved into a broader commerce and creator-business platform. Komi is a London-based landing page and personalized website builder launched in October 2021 that targets content creators, musicians, athletes, celebrities and other creative talent. The product lets users create a central hub to promote podcasts, videos, music, merch, tour dates and social links, and integrates with platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Twitch and Shopify. Komi provides backend analytics such as total views, earnings, clicks and average clickthrough rate to help creators track engagement. The platform is invite-only today with plans to open to the public in early 2023 and operates on a $10-per-month subscription model. Komi reports fans engaging with Komi pages has grown 40% month-over-month since launch and that user engagement has more than doubled over the same period. High-profile users include Lizzo, Elton John, Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, Eva Longoria and influencer Zoe Sugg. The company said it will use funding to improve the platform and eventually roll out additional fan engagement and monetization tools, but declined to provide specific details.

- Afterparty
Participated · Seed · Nov 2021
Afterparty is a platform that provides creators with live streaming, 1:1 chats, IRL community events, and token-gated collectibles to monetize and deepen fan relationships. The company is introducing Afterparty AI to deliver AI voice, photo, and video messaging that allows creators to scale personalized, 24/7 fan interactions. Fan-generated images and videos become one-of-a-kind collectibles verified on the blockchain and can serve as access points to exclusive experiences like livestreams and IRL events. Afterparty says its livestream format can double or triple creator livestream revenue with a higher cost-per-view compared to TikTok Live. The platform serves thousands of creators, including musicians, dancers, and podcasters, and has evolved since debuting in 2021 from token-gated fan access to a broader interactive destination. The company has raised capital to support product development and growth, bringing total capital raised to $12 million. Afterparty is a Web3 company that builds an NFT ticketing platform enabling creators to monetize fan relationships and deliver token-gated real-world events and experiences. Its core product uses NFTs to grant lifetime membership access, VIP benefits, and priority rights to festival and event tickets, positioning tokens as dynamic tools for IRL experiences rather than static digital art. Afterparty demonstrated proof of concept with its first token-gated festival in Las Vegas, which featured The Chainsmokers and The Kid LAROI and drew over 6,000 attendees; the platform has since scaled to include hundreds of musical artists and creators. The company plans to expand its events lineup nationwide, bring the festival to Los Angeles this fall via a second-generation Guardian NFT drop that will mint 10,000 NFTs as lifetime festival memberships, and continue pop-ups and gallery showings. Financially, Afterparty closed a $4 million strategic community round that brings total capital raised to $7 million and aims to use the funding to scale product and platform growth. Since launching in 2021, Afterparty has attracted notable investors, creators, and celebrity participants and positions itself as an educator and partner in live minting to broaden NFT access for creators. Afterparty builds an end-to-end Web3 creator platform that lets artists launch NFTs, manage collector relationships, and host NFT-gated live experiences. Its events platform enables creators to “token gate” exclusive fan experiences, and the company plans to launch an Ethereum- and Polygon-based NFT marketplace in January. The events product made its public debut in August 2021 following a beta with Ethereum and Deso and has hosted household-name creators and influencers. Over 20 early adopters, including Echosmith, Tropix, and Bryce Hall, have launched social tokens on the platform and seen growth in token market cap and direct income. Afterparty is scaling its team and hiring across engineering, marketing, and operations while expanding its virtual event series. The company was founded and is led by David Fields and Dan Rahmel, with co-founder Eytan Elbaz and Robert Graham in leadership roles, and positions itself around creator ownership and direct monetization.
- Mixhalo
Participated · Series A · Jul 2019
Mixhalo provides low-latency, in-person audio streaming technology that delivers synchronized audio to attendees at live events. During the pandemic the company focused on improving its core product and added Mixhalo Over Cellular and Mixhalo Rodeo to its platform. The company has secured integrations and high-profile deployments including Sting at Caesars Palace, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, the Los Angeles Football Club, the Sacramento Kings and the Buffalo Sabres, and its technology will be integrated into TSX Broadway. Mixhalo reports its sales pipeline grew beyond pre-pandemic levels as venues reengaged on innovation. Financially, the company announced a $24M Series B and previously raised $10.7M in a 2019 Series A. Mixhalo’s core product streams the same mix musicians receive in their in-ear monitors to audience members’ smartphones and earbuds via a dedicated wireless channel that does not rely on venue Wi‑Fi or cellular networks. The company launched two years ago at TechCrunch Disrupt NY and has since been deployed at Y Combinator Demo Day and on tours by Charlie Puth, Incubus and Metallica, as well as Aerosmith’s Las Vegas residency. Co-founded by Incubus guitarist Mike Einziger and violinist Ann Marie Simpson-Einziger, Mixhalo emphasizes listener control (individual volume) and the ability to offer multiple mixes or concurrent audio experiences. Marc Ruxin joined as CEO earlier this year, bringing prior music-startup experience. Mixhalo positions its business as selling enterprise software to event organizers and is targeting broader venues including conferences, sports, museums and megachurches.
