- Skalar
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Skalar is building an AI-native tax and accounting firm that links clients’ financial systems directly to its platform and serves as the official advisor, taking on regulatory registration and professional liability. Founded in 2025 by Björn Goß and co-founders and launched out of Munich in 2026, the company combines AI agents with in-house tax experts rather than selling software to incumbent firms. Skalar reports that automation has increased productivity—claiming one tax expert can serve over 100 clients in automated areas versus about 20 previously—and that it processed more than 1,000 client requests in its first three months. The company has not disclosed headcount or revenue figures. Skalar’s stated plan is to scale its end-to-end firm model using the €12M pre-seed/seed financing to prove that owning liability and client relationships can outcompete AI tools sold to existing firms. It positions itself against better-funded competitors like Basis and Accrual by emphasizing speed, control, and taking direct ownership of client outcomes.

- Applied Computing
Led · Seed · May 2025
Applied Computing’s core product, Orbital, combines time-series modeling, physics- and chemistry-aware simulation, and language modeling to analyze sensor readings and predict the state of industrial facilities. The platform is designed to flag anomalies, investigate root causes, and simulate how changes in one part of a facility could affect other operations, with the company claiming it can compress multiday investigations into seconds. Founded in 2023, the company has grown quickly and reports double-digit millions in annual recurring revenue within 18 months of emerging from stealth. Orbital is deployed at several large, publicly listed oil, gas, refining and petrochemical customers and is integrated into partners’ platforms such as KBR’s INSITE 3.0; Applied Computing also partners with Wipro and is working with a major U.S. upstream operator. The company has headquarters in London, an operational hub in Bengaluru, and recently opened an office in Houston as it pursues international expansion and additional deployments.
- Goodstack
Participated · Series A · Nov 2024
Founded in 2017, Percent has built a donation-processing infrastructure that handles verification, compliance, anti-fraud safeguards and tax-efficient disbursement of funds to nonprofits in more than 200 countries. Its API enables features such as matching contributions, round-up donations and on-screen giving after streaming content, allowing brands to weave social and environmental purpose into any digital experience without building the tooling themselves. The platform maintains a vetted database of 7 million nonprofit organizations and currently operates in the U.K., Australia and, with new capital, is expanding further into the U.S. Percent argues that consumer expectations for socially responsible brands have accelerated post-COVID, creating tailwinds for its offering. Early customers include Nationwide Building Society, which also invested in the company. While revenue figures were not disclosed, the company positions itself as the “global API-first infrastructure behind all giving,” aiming to become the Stripe of donations. The recent funding provides resources to scale engineering, compliance and go-to-market efforts across additional geographies and industry segments, including crypto platforms and streaming services.
