Num Finance operates Num Network, a financial platform that issues tokenized local money and local stablecoins to provide a real-world asset stack for web3. Its offering includes tokenized money markets and on/off-ramps that give businesses access to yields, loans, and digital assets while aiming to ensure stability and security in transactions. The company is led by Agustín Liserra and is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Num Finance plans to extend its service offering to Colombia and Brazil and to probe other emerging markets in Latin America, North Africa, and Asia. Using the recent funding, it will launch new stablecoin tokens for the Brazilian Real (nBRL), Colombian Peso (nCOP), Mexican Peso (nMXN), and Dinar Bahrain (nBHD).
