Swish Basket builds sensor-equipped basketball hoops using video and LiDAR to track ball movement, player biomechanics and shot statistics, and employs facial recognition to associate data with individual athlete accounts. The company leases its installations to schools, academies and camps for $2,000 per year while offering a free athlete app. Co-founder and CEO Joel Bar-El leads the company with Asaf Ronat as chief product officer. Swish was part of the 2026 NBA Launchpad cohort and recently closed a $3.2M pre-seed round led by Aristagora Venture Capital with participation from Péter Kádas, NIKA CAPITAL NPC and RGE Group. The startup is targeting 750 installations in 2027 and is concurrently pursuing an $8M seed round expected to close in October.
