EduLife is a network of independent schools in South Africa providing diverse and tailor-made education across the economic spectrum. The group reports continued growth in its existing schools driven by demand for quality, affordable education. Sanari Capital has made a R80 million (c. $4.4 million) follow-on investment to support the business. The capital will be used to entrench schools in their Free State foundation and expand into the Eastern Cape, Western Cape and potentially Gauteng. Part of the funding will also be deployed to expand capacity in existing schools to serve more learners. EduLife positions itself as an affordable alternative enabling students to progress at the same pace as peers in more metropolitan areas. It is backed by African institutional investors including Convergence Partners and 4Di Capital.
