  Ember LifeSciences develops reusable, modular cold-chain shipping platforms, including the flagship Ember Cube and the newly commercially available Ember Cube 2, which features real-time monitoring and cloud-based tracking. The Ember Cube 2 has received design recognition such as a Red Dot “Best of the Best,” and the company’s products have been cited by TIME and Fast Company. Ember’s customer base includes major pharmaceutical distributors and pharmacies such as CVS Health, Cardinal Health, Chartwell and USADA. The company originated as an offshoot of Ember Technologies, the maker of a temperature-control mug that has exceeded half a billion dollars in total sales. Ember says it will use recent strategic investments to scale its logistics platform rapidly and expand its global footprint.
