SEK Lab is the first EdTech Accelerator in Spain, looking for startups that are innovators in education. The accelerator is based in Spain and accelerate startups not only based in Spain, also from Europe or the US with virtual acceleration program. SEK Lab is powered by SEK Educational Group founded in 1892 with 9 international schools, ages from 0 to 18 years old and 10.000 students per year. Also owners of Camilo Jose Cela University founded in 2000 with more than 8.000 students per year.

Founded in 2018 as a spin-off of the University of Granada’s cognitive developmental neuroscience lab, Neuromindset develops digital programs that combine published neurocognitive protocols with AI for personalized assessment and training. Its two main products are Neuromindset‑Schools, a classroom program for teachers, and Neuromindset‑Kids, a gamified app for families to continue training at home. The company emphasizes evidence‑based interventions (decades of research on early brain plasticity) rather than unvalidated claims common in edTech. By 2025 Neuromindset reported implementation in more than 30 educational centers across Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Guatemala, demonstrating regional traction. The startup has won sector awards including the Global EdTech Startup Award (authorregulación category) and the Impact Social Cup 2025. Financially, Neuromindset closed a €350,000 first round in March 2024 (angels + ENISA participative loan) and later secured institutional backing from Fundalogy in 2026.
