- logcat.ai
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
logcat.ai develops Delta, an AI platform that ingests kernel dumps, modem logs, and bug reports to detect root causes in minutes and recommend code-level fixes automatically. Founded in 2025 by former Esper engineers Varun Chitre and Tarun Vashisth, the company targets Android and Linux device engineering workflows. The startup says it has analyzed more than 10 billion lines of trace data and that hundreds of engineers are already using its platform. logcat.ai positions itself as an AI backbone for faster and more efficient operating-system-level engineering. The company recently closed a $2.55M Pre-Seed round led by Founders Co-op with multiple participating investors, providing initial capital to scale the product and team. No revenue, valuation, or detailed go-to-market metrics were disclosed in the articles.
- Fleetzero
Participated · Series A · Jan 2026
Fleetzero is a marine technology company that sells Leviathan™ electric and hybrid propulsion systems that can be retrofitted onto existing ships or installed on new builds. The system is marketed as cheaper, safer and cleaner than traditional marine powertrains, delivering maintenance and fuel savings while enabling future autonomous operations. The firm is also developing unmanned cargo vessel technology, positioning electrification as a key enabler for marine autonomy. Fleetzero recently opened a Houston, Texas headquarters that houses manufacturing, an R&D center and a marine robotics lab. The first production line has an annual capacity of 300 MWh of marine energy-storage systems, with plans to scale to 3 GWh per year within five years. The company believes its high-volume manufacturing approach can help revive U.S. and European shipbuilding. Commercial deployments of the Leviathan™ system are already underway with global vessel operators.
- Cedar
Participated · Seed · Oct 2023
Cedar Build is a construction-technology company covered by the Austin Business Journal. The article notes the company's technology can indicate development options for properties (for example whether a high-rise could go on a site or whether one home could be replaced by four). The coverage does not provide founding year, location, revenue, user metrics, or other financial details. The piece focuses on the company's recent fundraising, rather than product specifics or operating metrics. The report states the company secured additional investment totaling "tens of millions".
- Type One Energy
Participated · Seed · Mar 2023
Type One Energy is a fusion power startup focused on building stellarator-style magnetic confinement reactors capable of delivering gigawatt-scale, emissions-free electricity. Rather than owning and operating power plants itself, the company plans to sell key reactor technology to electric utilities and power providers. Its first commercial project, dubbed Infinity Two, is slated for the former Bull Run coal site under a deal with the Tennessee Valley Authority and is expected to produce about 350 MW of power in the mid-2030s. The approach promises the advantages of fusion—no long-lived radioactive waste and no meltdown risk—while meeting the surging demand from data centers and economy-wide electrification. Type One has attracted more than $160 million in venture funding to date, including support from Bill Gates’s Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Doral Energy Tech Ventures and TDK Ventures. The company recently secured an $87 million convertible note and is marketing a $250 million Series B at a $900 million pre-money valuation to accelerate reactor development and commercial deployment.
- Kodama Systems
Participated · Seed · Dec 2022
Kodama Systems develops technology to improve climate resilience and increase carbon storage in forests. Led by CEO Merritt Jenkins, the company focuses on automating machinery, optimizing on-the-ground operations, and creating methods to utilize low-value woody biomass. It aims to improve the efficiency of forestry thinning operations and expand markets for woody biomass byproducts. In December 2022 the company raised $6.6M in a seed funding round. The round was co-led by Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Congruent Ventures, with participation from Shorewind Capital, MCJ Collective, Alumni Ventures, Climate Capital and the Tahoe Fund. Kodama intends to use the proceeds to accelerate technology development for thinning operations and to develop new markets for woody biomass.
