- Apono
Participated · Series A · Sep 2024
Apono delivers a Cloud Privileged Access Platform that replaces static permissions with Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP) controls based on just-in-time and just-enough-access models. Its engine validates every request in real time, allowing enterprises to grant and revoke permissions automatically across hybrid and multi-cloud environments without slowing developers or operations. The platform is positioned for an era in which human users and autonomous AI agents operate side by side, requiring context-aware, highly scalable identity governance. Over the past year, the company reports a fourfold increase in client count, and reference customers include Intel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Monday.com. Apono plans to use new capital to accelerate AI-powered access intelligence, automate policy creation, and expand go-to-market efforts in the U.S. and additional international regions while scaling its engineering and sales teams. The November 2025 Series B brings its total funding to more than $54 million, underscoring growing enterprise demand for dynamic permissioning solutions.

ZEST Security offers an AI-powered cloud risk resolution platform that correlates and pinpoints the root cause of cloud risks to craft resolution paths that eliminate vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. The platform combines generative AI with open-source components to provide mitigation options and preventative remediation via Infrastructure as Code (IaC). ZEST aims to remove manual back-and-forth between security and DevOps teams and shorten the typical 30–60 day remediation cycle for cloud security risks. The company highlights that 80% of resolved risks often resurface and positions its product to close tickets rather than just flag issues. ZEST exited stealth with a $5 million seed investment from Hanaco Ventures, Silvertech Ventures and angel investors. The founders are Snir Ben Shimol (CEO) and Uri Aronovici (CTO), and the company has offices in New York City and Tel Aviv.
