Pacific GeneTech (PGT) develops and commercializes next-generation vaccines and biologics for unmet needs in food safety and animal health. Its core products include the Aegis vaccine platform, which combines cross-protective antigens and immunopotentiators, and the Hercules mannosylated chitosan adjuvant/delivery system. PGT has out-licensed its leading poultry vaccines and its adjuvant for third-party use, and has advanced proof-of-concept studies for swine vaccines against Salmonella and E. coli. Other candidates in development target Toxoplasma and Neospora in ruminants and additional poultry pathogens. The company plans to expand US operations in Northwest Arkansas with an adjuvant manufacturing facility, a vaccine development laboratory, and a management office to serve as its US headquarters. The recent financing will support development and commercialization of its platform and further development of the Hercules adjuvant.
