Graze offers a web-based product that lets non-developers build and manage custom Bluesky feeds using templates and tools for moderation, filters, sort order, and social-graph selection. The company powers roughly 4,500 Bluesky feeds created by around 3,000 users, including top topic feeds like News and Booksky, and also supports feeds used by other apps. Graze has begun enabling monetization via advertising, with about 200 feeds currently running ads at roughly $1 per 1,000 impressions; Graze takes a 30% cut to cover hosting, payments, and software. Its ad model emphasizes feed-level selection (advertisers pick feeds) and operator editorial control rather than user-level targeting, and users can opt out by blocking sponsored hashtags. The team is small and distributed (co-founders based in Portland and San Jose, plus a handful of part-time employees) and is working with other ATProto apps such as Skylight, Spark, and Flashes. Management says the current focus is on discovery and product-market fit rather than maximizing revenue, though the product already generates some revenue. The company is exploring ethical revenue-sharing models with Bluesky and other apps built on the AT Protocol.
