DPOrganizer offers a SaaS-based data protection management platform that allows businesses to map, visualize and manage their processing of personal data and supports GDPR compliance. The company is led by CEO and founder Egil Bergenlind, former Chief Compliance Officer at iZettle. It serves customers in 17 countries around the world. DPOrganizer intends to use recent funds for continued product development and further expansion into the European market. Financially, the company completed a Series A extension that increases its Series A total to €6M. The platform is positioned to support businesses as they scale privacy and data‑protection operations across jurisdictions. DPOrganizer offers a SaaS tool that enables businesses to map, visualize, report on and manage their personal data processing to support compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The software is designed to help companies prepare for the GDPR enforcement date of May 25, 2018. Led by founder and CEO Egil Bergenlind with Sebastian Norling as CTO and Andreas Yannelos as Head of Design, the company focuses on regulation technology. DPOrganizer has grown tenfold over the last year in both headcount and revenue, driven by the expanding GDPR market. It serves customers across Europe, Asia and the US and maintains sales offices in London and Amsterdam. The company plans to use the new funds to ramp up global expansion, strengthen the product and grow its tech team in Stockholm.
- Pacemaker
Participated · Equity · Jul 2017
Pacemaker is a Swedish company that developed an app enabling DJs to mix streamed music. The app is compatible with Spotify and is designed so DJs can work with streamed tracks rather than downloaded files. The company previously built a portable DJ set. Pacemaker raised $1 million from investors such as Spintop Ventures, Solang Invest, and Victor & Victor. It says it will use the funding to expand its reach and to create a legal solution for distributing remixes on higher‑paying music platforms. Jonas Nordberg, Pacemaker’s president, said the investment helped forge ties with people with cutting‑edge music‑tech knowledge and an international music‑industry network.
