LAfricaMobile is a Dakar, Senegal–based provider of a cloud communication and mobile marketing platform. Its platform enables clients to run large-scale mobile campaigns using SMS, USSD, Voice, WhatsApp, Airtime and Text‑To‑Speech. The company has processed nearly 100 million transactions, is connected to more than 15 countries and 60 operators, and employs roughly 30 professionals with diverse cultural backgrounds. Founded in 2014 and led by Malick Diouf, LAfricaMobile intends to use recent funding to develop its activities in Central Africa and to further invest in its products. The company plans to integrate artificial intelligence to offer added value to customers and partners. LAfricaMobile raised €4.3M in Series A funding to support these expansion and product-development efforts.
