  Olas is an original AI agent platform (since 2021) that enables autonomous, user-owned AI agents across multiple blockchains. Its core stack includes the Olas Stack for developers and the Olas Protocol to incentivize agent creation and co-ownership, and it recently launched Pearl, described as the world’s first agent app store. Pearl is a desktop app that lets users choose, launch, and fully own AI agents on-chain for use cases like autonomous social media accounts and DeFi trading. Olas reports material traction: agents process over 700,000 transactions monthly (growing ~30% month-over-month) and the platform has facilitated over 3.5 million transactions across nine blockchains, with 2+ million agent-to-agent transactions. The project also introduced Olas Staking with a Proof of Active Agent mechanism to reward useful agent activity. To attract builders it launched an Accelerator offering up to $1M in grants (individual teams can receive up to $100,000 plus OLAS tokens) to develop agents for Pearl.

• LabDAO

  LabDAO is focused on open-source drug discovery and is building an exchange to connect scientists with laboratory and computational services. The project launched PLEX, a client that lets scientists interact with the Lab exchange and run containerized, resource-intensive computational services. PLEX currently supports computational workflows only; physical laboratory services are planned for a future release. LabDAO enables outputs to be linked to NFTs so scientists can prove ownership of their data. The DAO governance structure is not yet fully in place; the team is prioritizing building utility and an active community before deploying the DAO and affiliated token. The project raised $3.6M in a funding round co-led by Inflection.xyz and Village Global.

  VitaDAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that crowdsources funding for research into extending human life, with a focus on cellular biology and repairing damage tied to the hallmarks of ageing. The organization aggregates capital from venture backers, web3/decentralized-science groups, and individual longevity enthusiasts to finance R&D and spinouts. It has a global community of over 9,000 enthusiasts, researchers, and contributors and in 2022 deployed over $3.5M across 15+ projects researching diseases of ageing. VitaDAO holds IP as NFT assets and is pursuing commercialization and licensing of those assets through a partnership with Molecule DAO. The DAO intends to use newly raised capital to fund further longevity research projects and to precede the spinout of its first biotech startups, scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. The organization was founded by Tyler Golato.
