  • MetAI

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2025

MetAI builds AI-powered digital twins that convert CAD files into "SimReady" 3D environments in minutes, targeting use in robotics and industrial automation. The platform also generates synthetic data inside its AI-enabled digital twin environments to train and validate models. MetAI focuses on verticals including advanced semiconductor fabs, smart warehouses and automation, and claims faster creation times tailored for physical AI deployment. The two-year-old company has a handful of customers and is already generating revenue; it expects to bring in $3 million from a single project this year. Revenue comes from project-based income, product subscriptions, and licensing fees from ongoing developments. MetAI plans to expand its R&D team, accelerate go-to-market execution, establish a U.S. office, and relocate its headquarters in the second half of 2025.

  • dipp, inc.

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2023

Dipp is a Taipei-based startup that automates workflows between marketing, sales and design teams using AI to speed creative production. Brands set up brand guidelines or upload Photoshop files that dipp converts into editable dipp files, then marketers upload spreadsheets of product data to batch-edit visual assets. The product helps teams produce hundreds of images quickly — brands typically generate 300 to 500 images at a time — and embeds marketplace-specific requirements (file sizes, dimensions, character limits) to automate multichannel assets. Customers include large apparel and beauty brands such as Levi’s, Estée Lauder and Rakuten, and dipp serves clients with high product rotation and catalogs of 500+ SKUs selling across three or more marketplaces. Launched three years ago after the founders moved the company from New York to Taipei via the AppWorks accelerator, dipp has focused on Taiwan and is expanding into Southeast Asia with new clients in Singapore, the Philippines and Thailand. The company is integrating generative AI features — including prompt-driven image drafts and automated design review — and plans to launch those capabilities soon. Dipp recently raised $1.5 million in seed funding and will use the capital for team expansion, especially in R&D and business.

In 2025 the platform’s annualized revenue jumped from $4 million to more than $33 million on 740 percent growth, and it surpassed $1 billion in annualized processing volume across thousands of doctors in over 700 clinics. December 2025 saw a single-day record of roughly $9 million in purchases. Management expects to serve 3,000+ clinics, top $150 million in annualized revenue, and exceed $4 billion in processing volume during 2026. Founded in 2024 by CEO Tim Hwang and President Jonathan Chen, Nitra plans to expand headcount from about 50 to over 200 and roll out new AI modules for revenue-cycle management, patient marketing, payroll, and staffing.
