Tiny Rebel Games is a NYC-based developer of games and augmented reality (AR) experiences. Its core product is the Petaverse Network, which combines games, XR, and Web 3.0 to define an open standard for digital pets in the metaverse. The company plans to roll out pet companions starting with cats in Q2 2022 and dogs later the same year, alongside new games and XR experiences. Tiny Rebel intends to use the newly raised funds to expand the Petaverse Network, develop additional games and experiences, and hire key developer positions. The company is led by Lee Cummings and Susan Cummings and counts 1UP Ventures among its existing investors. Financially, the company closed a $7m funding round in which multiple strategic investors and web3 gaming veterans participated.
