Viaduct builds the patented TSI Engine, an AI-powered solution that automatically analyzes thousands of variables hidden in terabytes of data to discover patterns of health, defects, and performance across connected products. The company spun out of the Stanford AI Lab and has concentrated its initial efforts on the automotive industry, where defects and failures cost manufacturers billions annually. Viaduct reports proven results across 100 billion miles of telematics-tracked vehicles and analyzes hundreds of terabytes of data each month. Customers have seen detection times reduced by over 90% and up to an 80% reduction in unplanned downtime; one customer directly reduced warranty cost by more than $50 million and another estimates $200 million in annual warranty reduction upon rollout. The company will use new funding to accelerate business development and deployments and plans to expand into new verticals including construction, agriculture, specialty vehicles, aerospace, marine, and optimized fleet maintenance. Viaduct positions its technology to reduce warranty spend, improve customer satisfaction, and drive operational efficiency for manufacturers, suppliers, and operators.
