The Landbanking Group is an eco-fintech that delivers natural capital data using earth observation, digital in-situ data, machine learning and decentralised ledger technology. It provides balance-sheet grade nature equity assets aimed at agri-food, energy, resource and infrastructure companies, and is increasingly serving insurance providers and financial institutions. The company recently launched its natural capital platform, Landler. Founded in 2022, the business has grown to an international team of 40 experts across ecology, ecosystem modelling, data science, AI, engineering, financial engineering and business building. The firm is Munich-based and positions its product as balance-sheet grade for corporate and financial users. Financially, The Landbanking Group has just completed an $11 million Seed funding round.
