Luxor Technology develops and deploys infrastructure and software for bitcoin mining operators, including its LuxOS firmware and access to mining pools and hashrate derivatives. Under the announced deal with MicroBT, Luxor will provision WhatsMiner rigs with LuxOS to add features such as fast power switching and improved restart speeds after outages. The firmware upgrade and related services will be rolled out in phases, giving operators staged access to Luxor's full product suite. MicroBT will supply $100 million in mining equipment and is also set to invest in Luxor via Inflection Technology Ltd., though the investment amount was not disclosed.
