BabyLiveAdvice delivers coordinated prenatal, postpartum, and infant care via virtual care teams that provide live maternal education classes, one-on-one and group consultations, chat, telemonitoring, and a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. All consultations are documented and shared with patients’ medical providers through EHR integration. The company offers education and clinical support across lactation, nutrition, mental health, weight management, and blood pressure and blood sugar control. For hospitals and health systems it aims to boost patient satisfaction, attract first-time moms, and reduce provider burden by handling non-emergency questions; visits are priced at $24. BabyLiveAdvice reports having served over 40,000 parents and says it has demonstrated improved clinical outcomes, decreased emergency room use, reduced readmissions, and fewer postpartum complications. The company will use the new funding to broaden the scope of its AI, including adding new administrative capabilities; it was founded by CEO Sigi Marmorstein, RN, PHN, MSN, FNP-BC.
