- Neocrete
Participated · Equity · Aug 2026
Neocrete develops additives that allow low-quality fly ash and volcanic ash to replace 30%–50% of cement in concrete while maintaining strength, durability, and workability. Founded in 2018 in New Zealand, the company positions its technology as both lower-carbon and lower-cost compared with conventional cement. Its technology is commercially deployed in Southeast Asia, including Readymix Brunei, which has poured 3,700 cubic metres of Neocrete concrete and achieved a 25% reduction in embodied carbon, avoiding about 215 tonnes of CO2 and saving nearly $20,000. The company expects a much larger deployment at Brunei’s Muara Port redevelopment, projected to use ~65,000 cubic metres of Neocrete concrete, save about $300,000 and avoid roughly 5,200 tonnes of CO2. With the recent $3.5M raise, Neocrete plans to expand into European and U.S. markets and scale further commercial deployments.

In real-world pilots with SingHealth Polyclinics and private partners, DHV demonstrated about 95% detection accuracy. The company plans to expand DHV's parameter set (including blood glucose, stress index, fatigue, and hydration) and pursue customer acquisition in Singapore and broader Southeast Asia. Coverage notes potential deployments across healthcare, eldercare, insurance, and workforce safety but does not disclose revenue or other operating metrics.
