Clave was founded by brothers Tadeo A. and Mateo Acosta-Rubio alongside CTO Carlos Leonardo Emanuele and founding engineer Valentina Casteline to address fragmented back-office systems in quick-service franchising. The platform integrates popular operator systems such as Toast, NCR, Square, Restaurant365, 7shifts, and Olo into an AI-native layer comprised of agents that can explain, propose, and execute on operator workflows. After an initial launch at eMerge Americas, Clave is live with operators across brands including Jamba Juice, Auntie Anne's, Capriotti's, and Ben & Jerry's and reports replacing full headcount on workflows that previously took hours per store per week. The founding team has deep operator experience through their family business CHURROMANIA®, a 140+ location churro franchise, and a prior exit (Stuvi.space) with members of the team. The company operates out of Coral Gables in Miami, FL and is actively hiring engineers, operators, and builders as it scales. Its current financial position includes a fresh pre-seed raise of over $1 million from VCs, scouts, and angel investors to fund growth and hiring.
