- OpsCruise
Participated · Seed · Feb 2021
OpsCruise offers an actionable observability platform that predicts performance degradations and automates causal analysis for dynamic cloud-native applications without proprietary agents or code instrumentation. The platform overlays machine learning and contextual AI on an open-source monitoring foundation (including Prometheus and Kubernetes integration) to visualize environments and automate troubleshooting. OpsCruise says this approach is 5x less expensive than traditional monitoring tools because it relies on open-source instrumentation and does not charge by data volume. The company is generally available and offers a free trial. OpsCruise is working with 25+ customers, including several Fortune 500 companies across financial services, telecom, tech and e-tailing. The product targets a stated $17 billion IT monitoring and observability market opportunity.
- Spotzot
Led · Series A · Nov 2011
Spotzot aggregates in-store and online promotions and delivers them via free publisher APIs to power loyalty programs, comparison shopping, and local checkins. The platform searches thousands of sources each day for deals that are valid at over 400,000 merchant locations and distributes offers across a network that includes ShopSavvy, Shopkick, CardStar, and Geodelic. Each API call captures an anonymous consumer ID plus location and intent signals (product category, merchant, keyword, mall, and brand), allowing the company to track buyer behavior and present personalized deals. Spotzot says this depth of deal content and contextual targeting drives higher click-through rates and conversions for advertisers. In early testing, 45% of shoppers who clicked a merchant page showed repeat engagement indicative of purchase intent. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate platform growth and expand its sales and engineering teams.
