  • Keyrock

    Participated · Equity · Oct 2020

Founded in 2017, Keyrock began as a specialised market-making operation and has expanded into a broader institutional financial services platform for digital assets. It now operates across more than 80 centralized and decentralized trading venues and offers market making, OTC execution, options, and digital-asset-focused asset management. The firm employs over 200 professionals and has established entities in Belgium, the UK, Switzerland, France, and the United States. Keyrock positions itself as a long-term infrastructure partner connecting traditional institutions with fragmented crypto and tokenized markets. The company has pursued acquisitions to build scale, including the $27.8 million purchase of Luxembourg-based Turing Capital. Following its Series C, Keyrock is valued at $1.1 billion and is using new capital to strengthen its balance sheet, expand services, and pursue further targeted acquisitions.

  • AppVirality

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2015

AppVirality provides a toolkit for mobile apps that helps developers implement growth techniques such as personalized in-app referrals, customer retention and social sharing without having to code. The product is designed to let developers increase user acquisition and engagement via growth-hacking features. The company says it has generated more than 1.5 million installs for customers and lists clients including MakeMyTrip, Bharti Airtel, Quikr, Byjus, Paytm, iXiGO, Redbus, 1MG, MySmartPrice and Faasos. AppVirality was founded by brothers Ram and Laxman Papineni; Laxman serves as CEO. The company is US- and Hyderabad-based and emerged from Microsoft Accelerator in May 2014. Following a $500K funding round, AppVirality plans to focus on product innovation and expand its team from 12 to 25 over the next 12 months. AppVirality offers a software development kit (SDK) and dashboard that allow developers to add growth-hacking techniques to mobile apps without writing new code. Its current tools include an in-app referral system similar to Uber and a feature to let users share purchases from e-commerce apps to social networks. The company is adding new tools such as sweepstakes, share-to-unlock premium content, and personalized in-app referrals. The dashboard targets marketers without coding experience, enabling them to run A/B tests and view analytics that show reach, downloads, and revenue generated by each tool. AppVirality launched in November and participated in Microsoft Accelerator last year. The startup raised seed capital and will use the funds for product development and hiring.
