- Symitri
Participated · Equity · May 2024
Symitri acquired TRUSTX from Digital Content Next and is positioning itself around privacy-first programmatic infrastructure. The company says it will launch “the world’s first integrated privacy firewall and real-time data clean room” to help balance open-web programmatic economics with growing privacy demands. Symitri closed $5 million in funding from institutional investors and ad‑tech executives to support the initiative. It ran a beta with TRUSTX in 2024 and plans to expand supply‑chain partnerships and integrations with select identity and data technology providers. Symitri is collaborating with Akamai Technologies to assist with the rollout. Financial terms of the TRUSTX sale were not disclosed; the TRUSTX exchange had connections to DCN publishers including News Corp, Hearst, and The Washington Post.
- Datalogz
Participated · Equity · Dec 2023
Datalogz builds an algorithm-driven automation tool that plugs into customers' business intelligence environments to identify duplicated dashboards, unused assets, security risks and inefficiencies and to generate insights for risk reduction and cost savings. The company positions its product as an alternative to manual BI audits performed by consulting firms, and the founder says it costs a fraction of consulting fees while delivering a 10–20x ROI. Founder and CEO Logan Havern draws on his experience at JetBlue, where report proliferation drove the product thesis. Datalogz has secured enterprise customers including the American Bureau of Shipping, Gateway Services and SSA & Company and is targeting roughly 10 enterprise customers early next year. It reports an eight- to 12-month sales cycle with annual contract values between $100,000 and $250,000. The company recently raised $5M led by Great Point Ventures, following a $2.3M financing in February led by Squadra Ventures.
