    Founded in 2017 by Sunil Patel and Netaji Patro and based in Pune, Matel designs and manufactures energy-efficient motors, motor controllers and integrated powertrains for automotive and industrial uses. Its products target applications including electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, pumping and cooling systems, and it is already in series production with multiple original equipment manufacturers across two-wheeler, three-wheeler and industrial segments. The company plans to broaden its product portfolio and enter the electric commercial vehicle segment. Matel intends to scale manufacturing capacity, strengthen R&D, accelerate product development and expand engineering and production teams as part of its growth plans. Leadership brings sector experience—Patel led the Chetak EV development programme at Bajaj Auto and Patro held R&D roles at Maruti Suzuki and Bajaj Auto.

Suind raised a Rs 5 crore seed round in November 2023 led by Sunicon Ventures with participation from Zetta Farms and angels. Following the latest financing, Transition Venture Capital Fund becomes the largest external investor. The company intends to expand its drone applications into industrial use cases beyond agriculture. Suind competes with Indian drone firms such as Marut Drones, Garuda Aerospace, IoTechWorld Avigation, BharatRohan, and Dhaksha Unmanned Systems.

Key customers and target sectors include pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, electronics, batteries, food processing, chemicals, and textiles. The company says its solutions help customers lower operating costs and reduce carbon emissions. Albatross plans to establish pilot-scale manufacturing and expand commercial deployments with the new funding. It also aims to strengthen engineering and quality teams and accelerate R&D, and to expand its technology into commercial buildings and broader global cooling markets. The startup competes with global players including BlueFrontier, Mojave, and Transaera.

    Founded in 2022 and based in Bengaluru, EMO Energy develops AI-powered battery systems and its proprietary ZEN platform integrates battery management, thermal management, and fast-charging technologies. The company serves the EV ecosystem across two-wheelers, commercial vehicles and energy storage segments. EMO raised a pre-Series B round valuing it at Rs 860 crore post-money and has previously raised $6.2 million in a Series A led by Subhkam Ventures. Management says proceeds from the latest round will be used for working capital, capital expenditure and expansion. In FY25 EMO reported operating revenue of Rs 14.42 crore, up 2.9x from Rs 4.98 crore in FY24, while losses widened to Rs 7.17 crore from Rs 4.85 crore the prior year. After the allotment, Transition VC remains the largest external shareholder with an 11.63% stake and co-founders Sheetanshu Tyagi and Rahul Patel each hold 16.79%.

The company was co-founded in 2022 by Amit Nimje and Shantanu Bhede and is based in Nagpur. It recently raised Rs 6.5 Cr in a seed round led by Transition VC to bolster R&D, scale manufacturing, strengthen testing and quality infrastructure, and stabilize its supply chain. ZERODRAG plans to use the funding to accelerate next‑generation UAV avionics and, within 12–24 months, expand into enterprise‑grade hardware such as heavy‑lift drones and future eVTOL platforms. It competes with established component providers like Holybro, Caddx, SpeedyBee, and HGLRC.
