In November 2023 GreyScout raised €3.5M in a seed round, bringing total capital raised to €4.5M, and plans to use the funding to expand its product, engineering, and platform capabilities. Founded in 2020 and based in Dublin, Ireland, GreyScout aims to meet growing demand for automated brand protection across ecommerce channels.

The company offers an Enterprise solution with annual contracts and SaaS fees and has launched &Open On-Demand, a pay-as-you-go gifting marketplace for SMEs. &Open says gifting can increase brand loyalty and has positioned its product to address remote work and retention challenges highlighted by the pandemic and the “Great Resignation.” Clients include Airbnb, Peloton, Spotify, Hopin, Intercom, Wayflyer and BetterUp. The company was launched in 2017 and now has a presence in Ireland, the U.K. and the U.S., with plans to open a New York City office in the next year. Financially, &Open has raised a $26M Series A and has $33.2M in total capital raised to date. &Open provides a platform to help brands send physical gifts at scale, handling an operation many marketing teams manage on spreadsheets. The company says it delivers more than 3,500 gifts each week and counts customers such as Airbnb, Spotify and Peloton. &Open argues thoughtful gifting drives customer advocacy, citing a study that emotionally connected customers create 306% higher lifetime value.
