Trilantic Capital Partners is a private equity firm focused on investments within the consumer, business services, and energy sectors. It was formed in 2009 by the five founding partners, all of whom worked together at Lehman Brothers Merchant Banking (LBMB). At LBMB, the Firm’s principals created a strong track record of investing in and building first-class businesses and established LBMB as a partner of choice for management teams, entrepreneurs, and family-owned companies. Led by CEO Ravneet Bhandari, the company launched a platform that leverages machine learning and data science to deliver recommendations and actionable analytics to hoteliers. The company planned limited access to the platform at five New York City hotel properties in February 2016. LodgIQ also scheduled broader availability at ITB Berlin on March 9–13, 2016. Financially, LodgIQ secured $5M in seed funding to support its product launch and early commercial activity. The funding round underscores initial investor confidence as the company begins customer rollouts.
