  • Qtap

    Participated · Seed · Jul 2023

Qtap combines social networking, a website builder and online payments into a single ecosystem serving individuals, creators and businesses. The service launched in April 2023 and attracted 20K users in a couple of months without any marketing. Clients include bloggers, influencers, the country’s largest banks, small and medium-sized businesses, and thousands of individuals. Founder Madat Karimov conceived the idea in February 2021 as a boxed subscription solution providing e-commerce tools for both individuals and brands. Qtap raised funds to expand its team, scale the business and invest in marketing. The product supports promotion, price lists, event announcements, goods and ticket sales, content monetization, and app aggregators through linked pages.

  • Dolon Systems

    Participated · Seed · Jan 2023

Dolon offers a cloud-based geoscience data management system that connects field geologists, laboratories, surveyors and management, accessible online and offline with synchronization. The platform enforces data integrity through about 20 triggers that check correctness and completeness and includes an integrated 3D tool that immediately generates models from drill and channel coordinates. Dolon says its tools increase reliability of geological data, speed up modeling compared with external tools, and reduce required working hours for roughly 40% of employees. The team began the project in 2018, built a first prototype and started initial sales in 2019, and has tested the product with more than a dozen mining companies in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In 2022 Dolon completed the PEAK Bishkek acceleration programme and plans to scale beyond CIS markets, introduce subscription products, add reserve and resource estimation and AI tools, and raise a further investment round. The eight-person founding team comprises mining experts and cloud software developers from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
