- Series
Participated · Seed · May 2026
Series is building an AI-native social experience that operates inside the iMessage messaging surface rather than as a standalone app. The founders, Nathaneo Johnson and Sean Hargrow, position the product to leverage default messaging as distribution for Gen Z and young professionals. The company reports early traction across more than 750 college campuses and an 82% Day 30 retention rate among activated users. Series has raised $5.1 million in pre-seed capital from a mix of venture and angel investors. The startup is headquartered in New York, New York. No revenue figures or other financial metrics were disclosed in the coverage.
- Dialogue AI
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Dialogue AI offers a vertically-integrated platform that automates the entire customer-research workflow—from study design and participant recruitment to live AI-moderated interviews and instant analysis. Its conversational AI conducts dynamic, probing interviews that combine the depth of qualitative research with the speed and scale typically associated with surveys. The system links directly to existing business tools, builds longitudinal context, and produces enterprise-grade reporting through a consumer-simple interface. Founded in 2025 by Benjamin Lo, Justin Hoang, and Hubert Chen—alumni of Apple, Reddit, Snapchat, Twitter, and Nextdoor—the Los Angeles-based company already counts Wayfair, Square, Nextdoor, and Suno among its customers. Dialogue AI positions itself as a solution for marketers, designers, engineers, and creators who need rapid insights without traditional research bottlenecks. With its recent seed financing, the startup plans to accelerate product development and expand go-to-market efforts so that any organization can access high-quality customer feedback instantly. To date, the company has raised $6 million and has not disclosed additional financial or user metrics beyond its initial customer list.
- Daze
Participated · Equity · Oct 2024
Daze is a freestyle messaging app that lets users craft multi-colored, social-media-style chats with photos, graphics, stickers, GIFs, drawings and decorated backgrounds. The product is already using AI to power some creative tools and the team plans to integrate deeper AI-based technology in the future. Built in React Native to launch simultaneously on iOS and Android, Daze aims to be feature‑complete and competitive with iMessage and WhatsApp while offering more creative expression. The app is prelaunch but has strong engagement signals: roughly 156,000 waitlist signups, about 48 million combined views across TikTok and Instagram (its top TikTok video has 8 million views), and ~1,400 invite-only beta users. A source familiar with tests said 60-day retention for people who have sent a message is over 50%. The small team (seven full-time, one part-time) is largely based in New York.
- Daylight
Participated · Seed · Dec 2022
Daylight offers an API that aggregates all Web3 perks a user qualifies for by analyzing their wallet address, enabling actions like minting derivative NFTs, claiming airdrops, and accessing token-gated experiences. Wallet apps and NFT marketplaces use the API to surface user entitlements, boosting acquisition, retention, and engagement, while community tools use it to distribute allow-listed mints, claims, or unlocks. The API aggregates abilities by indexing on-chain data, integrating community tools such as POAP, Snapshot, and Guild, and accepting submissions from Daylight Scouts, a community that hunts for abilities across the Web3 ecosystem. The company demonstrated its API with a consumer web app launched in October, attracting around 14,000 closed beta users and a waitlist of 15,000. Led by CEO Kyle McCollom, Daylight plans to use the new funding to further customize its API for wallet app customers and to grow the Scout community. Daylight was founded in April 2022.
- Kota
Participated · Equity · Sep 2022
Founded in 2022, Yonder offers an integrated platform that lets employers set up and manage Health, Dental, Vision and Pension plans for their teams in minutes. The software connects directly with insurance and investment providers, while an employee-facing app allows staff to create and manage their own benefits. Currently in beta, the product supports integrations with popular HRIS tools such as Personio, Humaans and BambooHR, and companies are being added via a waitlist. The founding team includes CEO Luke Mackey (former Ireland Country Manager at Bolt), CTO Patrick O’Boyle and Director of Engineering Deepak Baliga. With its recent funding, Yonder plans to accelerate product development, hire across engineering, product, go-to-market and commercial functions, and expand further in the UK, Ireland and additional European markets. The company has not yet disclosed revenue or user numbers, but the raise indicates early traction and investor confidence.
