  • Mine

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2026

Mine, formerly known as Fizz, targets the financial needs of young adults by combining data, design, and AI to deliver personalized money management. Its flagship feature, MoneyGPT, learns a user’s habits and goals to provide instant, tailored advice on saving, spending, and growing wealth. Complementing the AI agent are the Mine Card, a credit-building card that displays safe-to-spend balances in real time, and an aggregation dashboard that unifies bank, brokerage, credit, and loan accounts. Early user studies show that 75 percent of customers feel more financially confident and 70 percent feel more financially independent after using the platform. The company says the current financial system overlooks the realities of variable income, gig work, and shifting goals that confront Gen Z and millennials, and Mine intends to close that gap. With its recent funding, management plans to scale the platform and broaden the reach of its AI-driven guidance. To date, Mine has raised $28 million in total capital to support these initiatives.

  • Emagispace

    Participated · Series B · May 2018

Emagispace is an interior construction and design innovator that developed sustainable, patented EmagiBlock building-block technology. Its EmagiKit offerings enable fast, non-disruptive assembly and infinite reconfiguration of interior spaces at a fraction of the time, cost, and mess of traditional construction. The platform targets a wide range of industries including offices, trade shows, retail, art galleries and museums, TV/film/theatre, warehouses and storage. The company reports strong momentum in 2017 with key executive hires, product innovation, solid partnerships and revenue growth. Emagispace plans to use new capital to bolster EmagiKit products and expand its Privacy Pod Plus offering, improving sound insulation, lighting and adjustable work surfaces. The Privacy Pod Plus will leverage the company’s patented EmagiBlock technology to deliver higher performance at lower cost than many existing phone‑booth solutions. Emagispace is a Los Angeles–based modular construction company founded by Noel Maxam, an Emmy‑award‑winning producer who partnered with an MIT engineer and applied for a patent. Its core product, Emagiblocks, uses medium‑density fiberboard panels (made of sawdust, wood chips and recycled newspaper) joined by lightweight ABS interlocking blocks. Customers include Sony and Maker Studios for sets, and the blocks are used across office build‑outs, retail, trade shows, concerts, college theaters, convention halls, living spaces and disaster‑relief shelters. The company manufactures in Minneapolis and Denver and employs a virtual manufacturing model, buying machine time to scale production without owning equipment. Emagispace lists the product at $15.50 per square foot (with volume pricing available) and reports 12 full‑time employees plus sales reps in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, Denver, Dallas and Calgary. Some Emagiblocks have been in use for more than two years, and the company is actively expanding its team.
