Dropit provides a retail technology platform that unifies merchants' online and in-store inventories and converts brick-and-mortar outlets into local distribution hubs using its "smart sourcing" technology. The platform integrates with POS, e-commerce systems (including Shopify), warehouses and multiple couriers to enable same-day or next-day shipping, curbside pickup, and consolidated deliveries. It also enables shopping malls to aggregate multiple brands into a single online marketplace, and powers Primaris' Primarché multi-mall marketplace. Dropit offers a consumer-facing mobile app that lets in-store shoppers scan a QR code at checkout and have purchases delivered. Founded in 2014 and headquartered in London with a U.S. office in Austin, the company counts customers including L'Occitane, Abercrombie & Fitch and Estée Lauder. Financially, Dropit had previously raised $25M across two undisclosed rounds (2016, 2018) and recently secured an additional $25M to fund expansion in existing markets and grow in the U.S.
