    FolioDynamix is a New York-based provider of a web-based technology platform for wealth management. The company offers wealth service providers and investment advisors a comprehensive platform for managing the full wealth management lifecycle across all account types. Its platform supports unified managed account and unified managed household programs. Led by President and CEO Joseph Mrak, FolioDynamix is backed by Edison Ventures and ABS Capital. It received $4M in debt financing from Wellington Financial and plans to use the proceeds to continue to expand its offering. FolioDynamix provides on-demand technology and product solutions to wealth management firms and their affiliated investment advisors. Its offerings include the FDx wealth servicing platform, a fully modular, configurable thin-client application for fee-based products, and FDx Advisor, a registered investment advisor solution combining manager research, investment consulting and discretionary investment options. The company operates offices in New York, Sacramento, CA and Columbus, OH. FolioDynamix received a $16M growth equity investment and intends to use the funds to further develop its technology platform and invest in sales and marketing. The round reflects ongoing support from existing capital partners and is intended to accelerate product development and go-to-market efforts. As part of the financing, new ABS Capital partners will join the board alongside existing directors, aligning investor oversight with the company’s growth plans.

    OpenPeak is a Boca Raton, Florida-based provider of enterprise-class mobile device and application management solutions, led by CEO Dan Gittleman. Its core product is ADAM (the Advanced Device and Application Manager), a cloud-hosted platform that provides mobile device and application management as a service. ADAM's capabilities include pushing and removing apps, setting password policies, configuring VPNs, defining policies, and remotely locking and wiping devices. The platform is offered as a white-label solution through carriers and large OEMs worldwide. OpenPeak received an investment from AT&T; the amount and instrument were not disclosed. The company said it will use the funds to accelerate global growth, expand industry partnerships, and continue technology and product innovation. OpenPeak builds multimedia touch-screen devices and device management platforms. It recently announced the OpenTablet 7, a portable touch-screen device the article says is similar in many ways to Apple’s iPad. The OpenTablet 7 is based on Intel’s Moorestown platform and the tablet includes thousands of apps with a completely Flash-based app ecosystem. Beyond tablets, OpenPeak also develops multimedia phones, set-top boxes, and home energy management applications. The company secured an additional $52 million in financing from Intel Capital, Horizon Technology Finance, and Velocity Financial Group. OpenPeak said the funding will be used to expand product development and enter new markets.
