Molecular You partnered with HealthQuest Esoterics to run its current assay as a Lab Developed Test (LDT), making it eligible for reimbursement. The company plans a near-term introduction of a next-generation multi-omic assay that will measure over 800 biomarkers, broadening scope to additional areas including certain cancers. Its lead compound, ENT-01, displaces membrane-bound α‑synuclein aggregates from enteric nerve cells and seeks to improve neural signaling between the gut and the brain. A second compound, ENT-03, increases insulin sensitivity via central mechanisms and acutely normalized blood sugar in diabetic mice; ENT-03 is being developed for diabetes, obesity, and Alzheimer’s disease. The company announced plans to begin studies in humans in Q1 2023. Financially, Enterin reported $6 million in convertible note funding as an initial tranche of a program of up to $20 million.
