  • Plural

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2025

Plural operates a blockchain-enabled marketplace that converts real-world energy projects into programmable securities, using smart contracts to automate waterfall distributions, investor protections, compliance, and reporting. By tokenizing small-to-mid-sized solar arrays, storage systems, and edge-located data centers, the company removes the administrative burden that has historically kept these assets out of traditional project-finance structures. The platform currently lists more than $300 million in distributed solar and battery assets supplied by renewable developers, and sponsors using Plural have reduced their cost of capital by an estimated 2%. Earlier in 2025 the company acquired a registered broker-dealer, now Plural Brokerage LLC, embedding regulated deal execution directly into its workflow. With nearly $10 million in total funding to date, Plural is expanding its product, capital-markets, and asset-origination teams and is actively hiring. Management positions the business to help close the multi-trillion-dollar funding gap for next-generation power infrastructure while offering investors real-yield opportunities at the edge of the grid.

  • Daisy

    Led · Seed · Mar 2025

Daisy provides marketers a platform to maximize content performance through creator-powered engagement. The platform activates a syndicated network of verified, top creators to "boost" content through coordinated actions that fuel algorithms and extend reach and longevity. With a programmatic network, creators' social media stories and comment sections become a new type of available inventory. Daisy offers features to amplify organic reach via curated creator networks that drive likes, comments, shares, and reposts, to drive strategic conversations with pre-approved brand-specific comments, and to enhance paid performance by converting organic posts into ads with creator social proof. The company is led by Ray Lee, Vincent Tuscano, Ian Ettinger, and Dylan Huey and is based in New York City. Daisy recently raised $3.9M in seed funding.

  • Azura

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2024

Azura develops an interfacing layer for decentralized finance aimed at simplifying and enhancing the user experience. Its unified application aggregates and standardizes interactions across multiple blockchains and protocols to address fragmentation of onchain liquidity and the growing complexity of crypto services. Led by CEO and founder Jackson Denka, the company launched a proof-of-concept trading terminal six months prior to the report. That terminal was already generating more than eight figures in annualized revenue and had close to $1 billion in lifetime volume. Azura says it will use the $6.9M seed proceeds to expand operations and accelerate development efforts. The team includes engineers from Citadel Securities, Two Sigma, D.E. Shaw, Optiver, Flashbots, Coinbase, and Bloomberg.

  • Focus Tree

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

Focus Tree is a Web3 social focus application aimed at helping millions reduce phone usage. The app is positioned as a Web3-native social "focus" platform. The company announced it completed a $2 million seed round led by Sfermion, with participation from Volt Capital, Psalion VC, StarkWare, Typhon Ventures, Foresight Ventures and others. Focus Tree said the first phase of a community airdrop will begin in 72 hours. The financing and product update were reported on May 20, 2024.

  • Lagrange Labs

    Participated · Seed · May 2024

Lagrange Labs is the creator and distributor of a Zero‑Knowledge Coprocessing protocol that enables verifiable computations at big‑data scale across multiple blockchains. Its core product is a decentralized off‑chain network of specialized nodes (ZK coprocessors) that execute intensive computations and generate ZK proofs which are submitted on‑chain for verification. The architecture is hyper‑parallel and horizontally scalable, allowing computation to be divided into many small tasks and executed in parallel; its proprietary Reckle Trees research enables updating previously computed proofs without full recomputation. Recent milestones include partnerships with EigenLayer, Base, Frax Finance, Mantle Network, Omni Network and AltLayer, the launch of the Euclid testnet, and being one of the first AVSs on EigenLayer Mainnet. Lagrange reported over $4 billion restaked in the first two weeks on EigenLayer and an additional $2.5 billion in restaking commitments from liquid restaking protocols. The company says its technology aims to unlock use cases requiring large dataset computations—such as on‑chain liquidity and pricing calculations or running AI/ML models—while preserving security via restaking integrations. With new capital, Lagrange plans to accelerate research and development, refine its ZK Coprocessing platform, and expand integrations across the blockchain ecosystem. Lagrange Labs develops a proprietary zero-knowledge (ZK) proof system focused on solving cross-chain interoperability rather than blockchain scalability. Its technology enables blockchains to interact without intermediaries, allowing dApps to validate real-time and historical states across Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks. The startup targets DeFi use cases such as cross-chain asset states for yield aggregators, multi-chain credit scoring, and multi-chain DEX pricing, and is also prioritizing decentralized identity, general verifiable computation, GameFi, and cross-chain governance. Lagrange has been actively hiring Ph.D. researchers in applied cryptography to accelerate research and development. Charalampos (Babis) Papamanthou, Co-Director of the Applied Cryptography Lab at Yale, joined as Chief Scientist to support verifiable and privacy-preserving computation research. The company plans to use its latest funding to accelerate development of its ZK-proof systems and expand its research team.
