Figment generates revenue by charging fees on staking rewards and providing enterprise-grade infrastructure services. Although specific financial metrics were not disclosed, the firm has attracted institutional demand strong enough to secure new capital. The fresh funding will be used to expand operations and accelerate product development, enabling Figment to support more protocols and larger client volumes. By continually upgrading its infrastructure and tools, Figment aims to remain a foundational partner for institutions entering the staking and broader Web3 ecosystem.

Edsby, founded in April 2010 by the original architects of the FirstClass software, provides a digital learning and analytics platform for K-12 education. Its platform includes assessment and reporting features, grade books, attendance-taking, parent-teacher communication, classroom management, and social classroom interaction. The product has been adopted by school boards across North America and was rolled out in New Zealand in 2019. During the COVID-19 pandemic Edsby says it onboarded more new K-12 district customers in the fall than in any previous year. The company plans to use the funding to scale sales and marketing and accelerate global growth. Following the deal, industry veteran Chris Besse joined Edsby as a board member and chief commercial officer.
