Founded in 1988 by Andrea and Rossella Giustini, Eco Eridania is an Arenzano, Genova–based service company and consultancy in the environmental sector. The company operates a fleet of about 100 vehicles as well as warehouses and storage facilities, with sites in northern Italy and Sardinia. Its core activities are the collection, transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, mainly from hospitals. Eco Eridania employs approximately 280 people after its recent acquisition and reports a group turnover of over €54m. The company has used recent financing to execute acquisitions and plans to announce additional acquisitions soon. Andrea Giustini serves as CEO. Eco Eridania, founded in 1988 and based in Arenzano (GE), Italy, specializes in the collection, transport and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including sanitary waste and by-product transit of animal origin. The company also manages storage of non-hazardous waste intended for recycling and serves public health organizations, care facilities, dental and analysis laboratories in central and northern Italy. It employs 160 people and generates a turnover of €24m. The business is led by major shareholder and CEO Andrea Giustini, alongside his sister Rossella. Proceeds from the recent investment will be used to build gas and energy recovery plants and to continue a process of industrial aggregation.
