  Botyard Intelligence designs and builds dexterous robotic hands, with its flagship product called the Gaoshan S1. The Gaoshan S1 uses a hybrid drive system primarily based on tendon-driven mechanisms and incorporates proprietary force-controlled tendon drive modules that the company says solve tendon creep. The company was co-founded by a former Alibaba executive alongside robotics professors from the University of Science and Technology of China and Harbin Institute of Technology, and its core team has more than a decade of R&D experience in dexterous manipulation. Botyard is at an early commercial stage and faces the typical commercialization challenges for dexterous hands, including competition from established and well-funded rivals. Financially, it has just raised a $20M angel round led by Qianrong Holdings with participation from Su Venture Capital and Xicheng Zhiyuan.

  Fukang Pharmaceuticals is a new-drug developer focused on anti-tumor and anti-aging drug R&D and production. The company aims to provide comprehensive services to the pharmaceutical industry and patients. It operates and continues to develop an R6D+AI drug-discovery platform (Right 6D combined with AI). Recently Fukang completed the first close of a Series C financing exceeding RMB100 million. The company plans to use proceeds to commercialize an imminent-to-be-approved flagship product, accelerate global development of multiple innovative drug pipelines, and further enhance its R6D+AI discovery capabilities. 甫康药业 is a clinical-stage oncology R&D company that designs and develops first-in-class or best-in-class therapies, including next-generation bispecific antibody biologics and differentiated small molecules. The company is advancing multiple clinical-stage assets with global intellectual property and is preparing its first product for imminent approval. Management says proceeds will accelerate global commercialization of that soon-to-be-approved product and support global development of the company’s innovative drug pipeline. This year the company acquired Karus Therapeutics’ clinical-stage PI3Kβ/δ dual highly selective inhibitor, completed production transfer and submitted an orphan-indication application to the FDA, and is推进global registration clinical trials. 甫康药业 is also building an AI-driven new-drug R&D platform in partnership with multiple AI companies including Shenshi Technology to speed discovery. Investors and management expect the company, as it enters commercialization, could achieve several hundred million RMB in sales.
