LinusBio develops precision exposome biomarkers from a single strand of hair to enable diagnostics and target discovery across conditions such as autism, GI disorders, ALS, renal disease and cancer. Its lead diagnostic aid, StrandDx™ASD, can assess likelihood of autism at birth with 80–90% accuracy, has received FDA Breakthrough Designation, and is on track to be offered as a laboratory developed test (LDT) by H1 2024. The company intends to use new funding to scale production of StrandDx™ASD at a newly opened facility in North Brunswick, New Jersey, and to extend international partnerships. LinusBio will collaborate with Y.A.C. Holdings on hardware innovation, robotics and laboratory automation to increase testing volume. The company reported it is on track for revenue growth of over 300% year‑over‑year. Over the past 18 months LinusBio has raised more than $25.5M, and its post‑money valuation increased by 35% in the current round. LinusBio develops a precision exposome sequencing platform that bridges genomics, environmental exposure, and biological response by analyzing a single strand of hair. Using proprietary laser and robotics, the platform collects thousands of data points the company says are equivalent to more than 500 liquid biopsies or blood samples and maps molecular dynamics in a time-dependent manner. Its early product, StrandDx‑ASD, can assess likelihood of autism at birth with reported 80–90% accuracy and has received FDA Breakthrough Device designation and a CE Mark in the EU as a diagnostic aid. The company is already using the platform in two pharma‑sponsored trials and is partnering with multiple organizations across the healthcare and pharma ecosystem. LinusBio’s pipeline focuses initially on neurological disorders and includes programs in ALS, oncology (including pediatric cancer), gastroenterology (IBD), renal disease, and mental disorders such as psychosis and schizophrenia. The funding will be used to grow the team, scale the platform, and deliver measurable clinical outcomes across more health conditions.
