- LPHYSIO WELLNESS
Led · Seed · Jan 2026
LPHYSIO WELLNESS markets and supplies devices such as LPG CELLU M6 ALLIANCE, Thermawave, and Thermawave Med focused on body-shaping and skin care. The company operates through its own direct-run centers and a network of franchise locations, using its direct centers as testbeds to validate devices and service packages and to accumulate related data. It standardizes treatment protocols and operating manuals to supply medical institutions and aesthetic channels, and has expanded into a 'total care' model by combining devices with health-functional foods and inner-beauty products. Management is led by CEO Shin Kyung-min, who has over 15 years of hospital management experience, and co-CEO Lee Yun-jae, who has 16 years of medical-device sales and distribution experience—expertise cited by investors when deciding to invest. The company positions itself as evolving beyond equipment sales toward an integrated wellness solutions provider.
- Hudson AI
Led · Seed · Mar 2023
Hudson AI develops AI dubbing and multimodal audiovisual tools that generate natural multilingual acting voices using original cast voices and synchronize lip movements to dubbed audio. Its technology targets localization workflows across drama, film, games, audio webtoons/books, and metaverse content, and has been applied to barrier-free content for visually impaired and elderly audiences. The company partners with media and entertainment firms such as SK Broadband, CJ ENM, and 3Y Corporation to streamline content production and localization. Hudson AI has been exporting dubbing services to overseas clients since late last year and showcased offerings at CES 2024 to attract international buyers. With the recent funding, the company plans to strengthen its AI models and services and focus product development toward overseas expansion. Hudson AI builds a generative-AI dubbing solution using language, voice, and video generation to create appropriately lengthed translations, synthesize multilingual performance audio using original actors' voices, and generate matching lip movements. The company was co-founded in June of last year by master's and PhD researchers who studied AI at Seoul National University. Its product targets dubbing workflows for films and dramas and aims to reduce inefficiencies in traditional dubbing production. Hudson AI says it will use the newly raised funds to prepare for commercializing its AI technology and to recruit talent. Leadership also intends to expand applications beyond broadcasting and film into the metaverse and the broader entertainment industry to increase viewer immersion. Financially, the startup completed a seed investment of ₩700 million led by Y&Archer with participation from Daekyung Tech Holdings and Ideabridge.
