Founded in 2014, KEYi Technology builds interactive robots that merge bionic motion control, multi-modal sensing and natural language processing to create an emotion-aware experience. Its flagship product, the Loona household pet robot, offers companionship, entertainment, remote monitoring and graphical programming features. Sales momentum has accelerated: a four-day Black Friday promotion (Nov. 28–Dec. 1) moved 5,101 units, a 538% year-on-year jump, and November sales reached 10,000 units, up 161%, bringing Loona’s cumulative global sales to more than 90,000 units. At CES 2026 the company introduced Loona Deskmate, positioned as the world’s first desktop assistant robot for personal office use, integrating emotional interaction, schedule management, meeting assistance and fast charging. KEYi’s proprietary emotional-interaction model underpins its product line and is a current focus of R&D investment. Proceeds from its latest financing will support further development of this model, mass production and market rollout of new products, and recruitment of top AI talent. The company’s growing sales base and continued product expansion underscore its push toward large-scale commercialization.

Grit Biotechnology is a Shanghai-based cell therapy company founded in 2019 focused on developing transformative tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) cancer treatments. Its pipeline includes GT101, described as the fastest-developing TIL therapy in China, which is slated to enter a pivotal Phase II trial by the end of 2023. The company also advances gene-edited TIL products and operates four core technology platforms central to TIL development: StemTexp®, StaViral®, KOReTIL® and ImmuT Finder®, a genome-wide CRISPR/Cas9 screening platform. GT201, a genetically engineered TIL, has an IND approved by the CFDA and has entered Phase I clinical trials. GT316 leverages ImmuT Finder®-identified targets, shows tumor elimination in PDX models with low-dose IL-2 and is in investigator-initiated trials in China. Grit plans to use new funding to support its TIL pipeline, including the pivotal Phase II for GT101 and advancement of its gene-edited TIL programs.
