  • Wewell

    Participated · Seed · Dec 2023

Wewell is a technology startup whose mobile application scans and evaluates the composition of cosmetics, using a database of ingredients and dermatologist‑designed questionnaires to create personalized skin profiles. The app can recognize more than 550,000 cosmetic products and detect around 27,000 ingredients. It has roughly 250,000 registered users who use the platform to avoid unsuitable products and find items that match their skin. Users complete a profile at registration and an algorithm evaluates product suitability based on scientifically grounded ingredient information. Wewell aims to reduce the negative impact of inappropriate cosmetics on both consumers and the environment. The company plans to expand to additional markets and to launch an integrated marketplace to connect users directly with cosmetics e‑shops.

  • CulturePulse

    Led · Seed · Apr 2023

CulturePulse offers social media analytics that create psychologically accurate digital twins of target audiences and measure messages against beliefs, values and 80+ cultural categories (anger, anxiety, personality, morality, inclusivity, racism, hate speech, etc.). Its technology models belief systems driving human behavior rather than relying solely on sentiment and engagement analysis, and produces a predictive "resonance score" alongside traditional metrics. The platform works across 100+ languages and is claimed to cover 99% of digital texts without the need for historical data and training. Prior to commercial launch the AI was used in research projects such as the Forgiveness project with the Woolf Institute, distilling over 50 million GDelt articles into 80 cultural and psychological aspects. The company plans to move its AI software to a SaaS platform, expand the team to bolster sales efforts, and enter new markets.

  • Simplicity

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2021

Simplicity offers an AI-powered resident-centric app that delivers critical notifications from city, police, fire departments and other government entities based on each citizen's interests. The platform personalizes alerts to users and is led by Andrej Krupa and Juraj Gago. The company reports that the number of local governments using the platform has grown to 100 cities in Europe and Israel. Simplicity raised $8.5M in seed funding to expand its reach across the U.S., Europe, and Israel and to improve the technology behind the application. Backers include Venture to Future, Zero Gravity Capital and angel investors.

  • Placense

    Led · Equity · Mar 2021

Placense is an Israeli-founded location intelligence provider that uses machine learning and anonymisation to gather location-based data for retail and real estate decision-making. Its technology helps retailers assess market demand and the company says it can cut data-collection costs by around two-thirds versus surveys, cameras and sensors. Placense emphasizes data privacy and GDPR-compliant collection and management, with data handled by Placense and associated partners. The company has appointed Germany's Fachverband Aussenwerbung e.V. as location intelligence data experts to support retailers. CEO Dan Gildoni says the product enables faster, more informed decision-making for occupiers, asset managers, developers and brokers. Placense recently received external funding to support scaling and expansion across Europe.
