  • Ouro Medicines

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2025

Ouro Medicines develops immune reset therapeutics focused on B cell–driven chronic immune-mediated diseases. Its lead candidate, OM336, is a BCMA-directed bispecific T cell engager licensed from Keymed Biosciences. Keymed is studying OM336 (CM336) in an ongoing Phase 2 expansion in multiple myeloma in China; Ouro holds exclusive rights outside Greater China and plans to start a Phase 1 study in 2025. The company also intends to advance a pipeline of discovery programs targeting distinct B cell subsets and to apply protein engineering to next-generation TCEs. Ouro launched with a $120M Series A and has assembled experienced executive leadership and clinical advisors to support development.

  • Positive Sequence Biology

    Participated · Series A · Aug 2024

正序生物 is a genetic-disease immunotherapy platform that develops breakthrough therapies based on base editing. The company focuses on treatments for point-mutation–caused genetic diseases and cancer immunotherapy. Its pipeline includes CS-101 and in vivo gene‑editing therapy programs. The firm recently completed an A+ financing that will accelerate CS-101 clinical research and commercialization and support clinical translation of its in vivo therapy pipeline. The round also aims to fund global expansion and efforts to bring gene‑editing products to market. The financing exceeded RMB 100 million and involved multiple strategic and existing investors.

  • TabbyML

    Participated · Seed · Oct 2023

TabbyML is an open-source, self-hosted coding assistant built by two ex-Googlers that generates code and can be customized for enterprise use. Launched in April, the project has been starred roughly 11,000 times on GitHub. The company emphasizes self-hosting to allow enterprises to incorporate proprietary code and to fine-tune models from user edits. TabbyML aims to lower deployment barriers by recommending models trained on one-to-three billion parameters, trading short-term quality for lower serving costs. Co-founders Meng Zhang and Lucy Gao argue that as compute costs fall and open-source model quality improves, incumbents like GitHub Copilot will lose advantage. TabbyML has secured $3.2 million in seed funding to develop its open-source code generator, with investors Yunqi Partners and ZooCap participating.

  • ArriVent Biopharma

    Participated · Series B · Mar 2023

ArriVent Biopharma focuses on accelerating the global development of innovative biopharmaceutical products with an initial focus in oncology. Its lead product candidate, furmonertinib, is a highly brain-penetrant, mutant-specific EGFR kinase inhibitor. The company uses a deep and global network to access drug candidates at various development stages, including those from China and other emerging biotech hubs. ArriVent pursues strategic collaborations to globalize medicines for patients with unmet medical need across a broad range of diseases. Following a $155M Series B, the company intends to use proceeds to support pivotal Phase 3 and additional studies of furmonertinib and to fund future pipeline expansion. The company is led by CEO Bing Yao and added board appointees in conjunction with the financing. ArriVent Biopharma identifies therapeutics developed in China and other emerging biotech hubs and in-licenses ex-China rights to develop them for U.S., EU and other markets. Its current pipeline anchor is furmonertinib, an EGFR TKI recently approved in China for NSCLC, which ArriVent secured ex-China rights to from Allist Pharma. The company plans to submit an IND this year to study furmonertinib in EGFR-mutant NSCLC patients in the U.S. ArriVent aims to repeat the furmonertinib blueprint by seeking additional validated assets to expand its pipeline. Leadership includes CEO Bing Yao and co-founder/chief medical officer Stuart Lutzker, who will work to gather the clinical data needed for Western development. Financially, ArriVent has secured up to $150 million to fund these activities, including $90 million upfront and up to $60 million contingent on milestones.

  • ZHIYI TECH

Zhiyi primarily serves brands in China while positioning its product around a broader shift toward on-demand, live-commerce-driven fashion. With the new funding, the company plans to hire more staff and conduct product R&D.
