Overview
100ms provides live video infrastructure and SDKs that enable businesses in edtech, fitness, entertainment and other sectors to embed video conferencing and livestreaming into their apps. The product was born from founders' work at Disney+ Hotstar to add in‑app live video social features and was developed to reduce integration time from months to about a week. The team built the current offering in roughly nine months and offers templates and customization to recreate real-world live events. Co‑founders Kshitij Gupta, Aniket Behera and Sarvesh Dwivedi bring product experience from Disney+ Hotstar (and Gupta previously worked as a live video infrastructure PM at Meta). The startup is based in India and the U.S. and has seen rapid traction—20x growth over the last quarter and more than 2,200 businesses have used its infrastructure since August last year, including FrontRow, WhiteHat Jr, Circle, Paytm Insider and Kutumb. 100ms plans to use funding to expand the team, hire more video engineers and add further product capabilities. 100ms builds live video infrastructure and customizable SDKs that let developers add Zoom-quality video conferencing to apps in hours. The company operated in beta for an extended period before launching these SDKs. Its clients include Paytm Insider, BookMyShow, Townscript and Circle. Led by Kshitij Gupta, Aniket Behera and Sarvesh Dwivedi, 100ms focuses on simplifying video access for companies worldwide. The recent financing will support building the video engineering team and product enhancements, including creating templates of live use cases. The company is based in Bengaluru, India.
